✦ How This Started
After my Kindle Paperwhite was no longer supported, my wife gave me a Kindle
Scribe. I loved the notebooks that came with it. I just wanted more of them.
I wanted my own custom notebooks, with navigation that let me jump between
sections, tables, and whatnot in only a few taps. That meant learning how
links work in a PDF.
I am a night nurse and sometimes I get a break or have some down time. During
those free moments and in my free time at home I learned and experimented with
hyperlinked PDFs optimized to the Kindle Scribe's screen.
While exploring the limits of hyperlink technology I discovered a way to
create a no-code randomizer within a PDF document. In technical jargon it's a
human touch degradation matrix, but I call it Press2Play. I continue to make
custom notebooks and booklets. I continue exploring Press2Play applications
and novel uses for hyperlinks. I decided to publish my results here under
the name Penny-Free Press.
The Penny-Free coin.
